The 5th China International Conference in Finance provides an open platform to bring together scholars worldwide to present research and to stimulate discussions on new developments in finance. It will be held in Chengdu, a famous Chinese historical and cultural city endowed with unique natural conditions and beautiful environment. Among its renowned scenic spots and historical sites are Emei Mountain, Wolong Nature Reserve, Jiuzhaigou Valley and Dujiangyan Irrigation System. The natural habitat of giant pandas, Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center, supports the world's only giant panda breeding and research base. Chengdu is also the capital of the Sichuan cuisine and a gateway to Tibet (the hub to Lasa City, Tibet's capital).
TOPICS:
Papers in all areas of finance are welcome. The conference follows the format of major international conferences, with the addition of special sessions on issues relevant to the financial development in China and other Asian and Pacific countries.

Yihong Xia Best Paper Award of US$1,000
The conference sponsors three best paper awards of US$1,000 each
PAPER SUBMISSIONS:
Authors are invited to submit completed papers. Papers will be elected by the Program Committee consisting of a panel of international scholars. The submitting authors will be notified of the Program Committee's decision by March 15, 2007.
